Hello people soon I will be posting new items in the shop. Its bn crazy at my job, wrking all day. I did have some adorable polymer hello kitty cupcake made, but as I went to put them in the oven they burned. I Will be making some tommorrow through. Also soon to be posted will be some knitted and other items my friend made. I asked if she would like to sell items on my site. So like consignment her items will be on the shop too.

Sewing books to be like a fashion designer
Ok maybe not a fashion designer, but to learn the basics of sewing...
I am Currently taking a sewing class. My teacher recommended some books. I finally decided to purchase the books, since I couldn't find them in my local library. I have longed to sew and find it hard to self teach. When I have a set day to go to school I make the time to go and get something done. If I taught myself it would never get done.
It can be overwhelming when choosing fashion books to learn to sew. There are so many good ones out there, but I don't have time or money for all that. I was happy to see my teacher had a recommended list of four books for us.

Sewing Building Block by Nancy Zieman (not pictured)
Sewing Essentials by Singer
Simply the Best Sewing Book by Simplicity

Trip to Santa Fe, NM

| Wow the cities art is breathe taking. Fun galleries all over and the Famous chapel, A must if your in the area. There's plenty of art sculptures to be seen also. The Fashion was different , old style for the people that live there I guess. Kuddos to the Hemp all natural boutiques , living green in clothes that wont harm the planet. Went to a fancy pants restaurant ...suppose to be best in the city. Spanish Crusine of some kind. We weren't big fans of the food. Want to go back through to get another look at the animation gallery. I saw a lot of neat Dr. Seuss Characters there, so fun. |
